Polish developer CD Projekt has released a bunch of gorgeous screenshots from The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt, coming to PC and next-generation consoles in 2014.
The Witcher 3’s world will be broken up into three sections, each of which will be accessible from the start. Geralt can now travel by horse and ship, as well as jump and climb in the environment.
The revamped combat system will allow Geralt to target enemies’ body parts individually, much like the VATS system in the Fallout series — or going further back, PlayStation’s Vagrant Story.
All this and more via Eurogamer.
Here are some comparative shots of the two versions of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings posted by GamingBolt. The top half of the images show the newly revealed Xbox 360 version against the PC below. The PC version is obviously superior graphics wise but the Xbox 360 version isn’t too far behind. The Xbox 360 version will be available on April 27th and will include over 3 hours of additional content.
