With the PlayStation Vita’s western release inching closer everyday, Sony’s marketing machine is finally starting to grind. Here is the official UK TV Spot dubbed ‘The World Is In Play’ which will start airing on February 17th, just 5 days before the console’s launch. It is pretty stirring and far more relevant than some of the crazy PS3 early ads. Some gameplay would have been nice, but we’ll settle for this. Better late than never Sony!

After ten years of constant war, of thousands of amputees and flag-draped coffins, of hundreds of grief-stricken communities, did nobody involved in this commercial raise a hand and say, ‘You know, this is probably a little crass. Maybe we could just show footage from the game.
YouTuber freddiew was asked to create a commercial for Battlefield 3 within a week. The team of editing wizards set to work and made this humourous take on the game’s online multiplayer. Don’t deny you’ve never done what is shown in the trailer! We all have at some point in our lives.
The Japanese PlayStation Vita TV ads have started to roll with this 15 second clip. In typical PlayStation style, the ad is rather perplexing. With the release date of 7th of December flashing up at the start, a man cycles…and that’s it really.

TV Spot Sunday (BF3 and UC3)
We thought we’d bundle these two TV spots in one post. Here we have a Battlefield 3 TV spot called ‘Above and Beyond the Call’ and an Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception TV spot without a name. Whilst the Battlefield 3 one is certainly unique and creative, it doesn’t show off the gameplay, the true selling point for this shooter. Uncharted 3 on the other hand shows off 25 seconds worth of gameplay clips. Videos below:
Sony’s Awesome Tribute to Fans
LONG LIVE PLAY. That’s the new slogan for Sony’s new PS3 ads. The full length version of the new ad which was teased last week is what can simply be described as an awesome homage to the fans.
