All Uncharted 2 DLC Becomes Free
Looking for a reason to get back on the 2009 game of the year, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves? Well, all the game’s DLC is now free!

Uncharted Trilogy Listed
Amazon France and BT Games, two retailers renouned for early listings, has put the Uncharted Trilogy on their respective websites.

Worried about what Hollywood might do with an Uncharted movie? Why not watch these fan made full feature length movies of the first three games. The movies use the game and it’s cutscenes. They are pretty lengthy and seem to be well received in the comments section.
Uncharted Series Ships 14 Million
Sony have confirmed that the critically acclaimed Uncharted series has topped 14 million units shipped.

Here are some screenshots from the upcoming Flashback Map Pack #2 for Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception’s multiplayer. The maps are this time from Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and are somewhat different from their predecessor. All the maps have some sort of differing weather feature. Train Wreck is no longer covered in snow, instead it is subject to sunny conditions.
The pack will cost $9.99 as it releases on February 21st. The four maps included in the pack are: Train Wreck, Plaza, Village and Temple.

Uncharted Series Sells 13 Million
Naughty Dog’s PS3 exclusive franchise, Uncharted, has seen it’s three games sell over 13 million copies to date, according to Sony.

This is an interesting set of screenshots. A user over at the Naughty Dog forums wanted to compare the multiplayer models for Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception.
Believe it or not, the textures and character modelling for Uncharted’s second entry looks far superior in multiplayer. Whilst the same can not be said about the game’s singleplayer, but could the inclusion of 3D have lowered the graphical quality?

Uncharted 2 to 3 is still a jump, but its a narrower jump. And going forward, it depends on what we do. There are always ways to improve stuff, always ways we can pull out more stops… like changing optimisations, changing streaming animations, getting more polygons on screen, progressive mesh,

These shots show the difference between Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception and Uncharted 2: Among Thieves as these multiplayer maps make it into both games. Although slightly different in style, the more defined textures and lighting is evident in the series’ third instalment.
