Uncharted Series Ships 14 Million
Sony have confirmed that the critically acclaimed Uncharted series has topped 14 million units shipped.

Some folks were lucky enough to pick up the PlayStation Vita launch title, Uncharted: Golden Abyss, for just 79p!
With Uncharted: Golden Abyss launching alongside the PlayStation Vita in the US and Europe on February 22nd, Sony have published this launch trailer. The game is a prequel to the series we’ve seen on PS3. The game isn’t being developed by Naughty Dog, instead the guys over at Sony Bend Studio have capably taken on the game.

Whilst the Japanese have had their hands on PlayStation Vita’s premier launch title, Uncharted: Golden Abyss, we’re stuck waiting in the West. For now, all we can do is look, and compare! Check out this comparative selection of shots from Uncharted on the Vita and the PS3’s Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception posted by PS3Gens. The Vita shots look good, but they don’t really do the handheld much justice. Take our word for it (we played it), it looks beautiful.

Uncharted: Golden Abyss Longer than Uncharted 3
The PlayStation Vita launch title, Uncharted: Golden Abyss, is said to be longer than the recent PS3 release, Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception.
Check out some gameplay of Uncharted: Golden Abyss. The gameplay starts at 3:25 and the start won’t be any good unless you know Japanese. Anyway, as the launch for PlayStation Vita nears in Japan (Saturday), the anticipation for gamers to get their hands on portable Uncharted rises.

Naughty Dog’s PS3 exclusive franchise, Uncharted, has seen it’s three games sell over 13 million copies to date, according to Sony.
