Here is a gameplay clip of the upcoming Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD. The remake of the legendary skateboarding title is set to release on PSN and Xbox LIVE next month. Ignore the German voiceover if you can’t understand it, just enjoy the classic footage from the awesome Warehouse stage.
With the complete HD overhaul in the works, Activision have posted this comparison screenshot of the original Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater with it’s spiritual brother. The hangar and atmosphere of the game appears to the same, multiplied by tens of thousands of polygons!

The step back to the past seems like the right move for an arguably stale franchise. The Pro Skater days were some of the finest in skateboarding games and we have no objection returning to those in HD.

After rumours of a Tony Hawk announcement at the Spike Video Game Awards, the man himself has revealed that the classic Tony Hawk Pro Skater will release in HD digitally.
