A pretty HQ screen-cap of the Metal Gear Solid V trailer has been uploaded. There’s a lot in there, try to decipher it! The game is coming to current gen and presumably next-gen consoles, as well as PC. Of course, its running on the wonderful FOX Engine.
The new Phantom Pain trailer, allegedly a viral marketing spree for Metal Gear Solid 5, gives us a clue linking it to the Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes debut trailer.
For a second, the bottom image flashes up in the bizarre new trailer, the same Omega symbol features in the Ground Zeroes trailer. Coincidence? Hideo Kojima doesn’t work with coincidence…
I am working on a future Metal Gear, not to be released until next year summer at the earliest, if not later then that.
With rumours of Hideo Kojima showing off something behind closed doors at San Diego Comic-Con, these leaked shots posted on CVG are certainly interesting. They show off what appears to be a promo video for the recently confirmed-ish game, Metal Gear Solid 5.
As you can see, instead of Tactical Espionage Action which usually appears above the game’s text, it says ‘Open Ground Reconnaissance Endeavours’. The text on the other screenshots suggests that the game will indeed be a prequel in the series, following the events of Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. The Diamond Dogs logo is also visible, something shown off on the recruitment page at Kojima Productions for the ‘Next MGS’. It looks like we may be playing a role in the creation of…Outer Heaven!

Speaking to the French magazine, IG, it seems like Hideo Kojima has plans for some more Solid Snake tactical espionage.

Hideo Kojima Teases Project Ogre
Hideo Kojima posted a picture on his twitter today of the Kojima Productions’ new Fox Engine. The screenshot is allegedly teasing the new ‘Project Ogre’.
I think we’ll probably have to make it at some point, but what that will be, we have no idea.
