You want my real answer? I think there’s a subtle racism in the business, especially on the journalists’ side, where Japanese developers are forgiven for doing what they do.

The first images of the upcoming Assassin’s Creed: Ezio Saga have been released. Unfortunately for us Westeners, the game is not planned to land within our shores. Instead, the game is being published by the Japanese Ubisoft branch. Only 5,000 copies are being made.

The collection includes the three Ezio titles int he series: Assassin’s Creed II, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood and Assassin’s Creed: Revelations. There will also be a 6-CD soundtrack which includes over 135 songs, as well as a Japanese version of the Assassin’s Creed Encyclopedia. One can only hope that it see’s a western release.

Here are some of the first screenshots released of Yakuza 5. The newly announced sequel to Yakuza 4 will feature 5 playable characters, most interestingly being the adopted daughter of series protagonist, Kazuma Kiryu. The screenshots posted above are a selection showing each of the characters from a much larger gallery that can be found over at Andriasang. There are also some sweet shots of the game’s various Japanese cities.
