Nintendo Making Gamescom Return
With so much Sony related news and rumours, here’s some Nintendo-based respite. Nintendo are making a return to Gamescom in 2013!

Here is 26 minutes worth of Devil May Cry gameplay straight from Gamescom. The upcoming reboot of the series, stylised as DmC, is set for release on PS3 and Xbox 360 in January. Developed by Ninja Theory, the game is still being published by Capcom. Whilst touring Germany, it was announced that Vergil will be in the game.

PS Vita Stands at 2.2m Units Sold
According to the German site, Playfront.de, the PlayStation Vita has sold 2.2 million units to date.

Castle Crashers Coming to PC
The hit XBLA and PSN game, Castle Crashers, is set to be coming to PC.

They certainly stole the show at E3, but could they replicate the same performance at Gamescom. Be the judge of Ubisoft’s press conference in Germany. It’s 45 minutes long, why not give it a watch?
Here is the newest set of Assassin’s Creed III screenshots. Whilst they are no direct gameplay shots, they show off the beauty of Assassin’s Creed III nonetheless. The Ubisoft title is due out in late October for PS3 and Xbox 360. The PC version comes out in November. No news on the Nintendo Wii U date seeing as the system has yet to be give a release date.
It’s always refreshing to see a Nintendo game with that M for Mature tag on it. ZombiU is one of those refreshing titles. Here is the new Gamescom trailer for the Nintendo Wii U game. There’s some nice gameplay to see in the trailer too.
Nintendo are no strangers to having celebrities endorse their products. This latest ad for New Super Mario Bros. 2 contains the Cruz sisters, Penelope and Monica. The ending is surreal…just saying.
The ominously titled Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition has received a new trailer. After lobbying from PC gamers, the longest running gaming platform is set to receive one of the PS3 and Xbox 360’s best RPGs of 2011. From Software promise that the game will be brutal, of course!
