Final Fantasy Versus XIII - TGS No Show
We shouldn’t have gotten our hopes up, Final Fantasy Versus XIII will not be at this year’s Tokyo Game Show.

The Final Fantasy anniversary celebrations are taking place in Japan right now. As apart of it, this pamphlet was photographed by this twitter user. The picture shows a drawing by Tetsuya Nomura of Noctis the main character for the unreleased Final Fantasy Versus XIII. During the presentation, Yoichi Wada reassured us that Versus is coming.
Interestingly, the game was only being referred to as Versus, seemingly dropping the Final Fantasy XIII tag. The writing on the pamphlet says “wait for his turn”, suggesting the game is still coming. TGS?
I cannot say any more than, ‘We are making Versus!’ Please wait a little longer.
Rumour: Final Fantasy Versus XIII NOT Cancelled
Despite a rumour from Kotaku claiming that Final Fantasy Versus XIII has been cancelled, a conflicting rumour has now surfaced.

We appreciate the excitement for this title, but at this time, we do not have any new information to share on its development. We are extremely thankful for the continued support for the Final Fantasy franchise and Final Fantasy Versus XIII.
I can assure you the team is working extremely hard on it and I think people will be excited when they next see it.
