The Final Fantasy anniversary celebrations are taking place in Japan right now. As apart of it, this pamphlet was photographed by this twitter user. The picture shows a drawing by Tetsuya Nomura of Noctis the main character for the unreleased Final Fantasy Versus XIII. During the presentation, Yoichi Wada reassured us that Versus is coming. Interestingly, the game was only being referred to as Versus, seemingly dropping the Final Fantasy XIII tag. The writing on the pamphlet says “wait for his turn”, suggesting the game is still coming. TGS?

Despite a rumour from Kotaku claiming that Final Fantasy Versus XIII has been cancelled, a conflicting rumour has now surfaced.

We appreciate the excitement for this title, but at this time, we do not have any new information to share on its development. We are extremely thankful for the continued support for the Final Fantasy franchise and Final Fantasy Versus XIII.
