In terms of our art, we always create our assets at a higher resolution than what you see in-game. A lot of our pipelines are already ready to move to something superior to the PS3. But it’s scary.
Development is going very well. Indeed, it’s nice to go to all these shows but we also have to make the game! We’re advancing – we’re now a few weeks off the alpha version. It’s always a very critical moment in the development of a game since it’s the first time all the game data is assembled in a complete versio
Here is a selection of screenshots from a much larger gallery (posted on AGB) featuring a cancelled Crytek project. The shots show off a game called Redemption, a third person shooter that was canned by the company. It’s a real shame as the shots of the environment look great. It certainly has a desolate S.T.A.L.K.E.R vibe to it. Let’s hope it gets picked up sometime after Crysis 3.
Square Enix already have a Final Fantasy XIII event coming up soon, but that’s not all. The company has announced another event for November. The poster shows off the female character from the Square Enix next-gen tech demo for the Luminous Engine. The conference is for developers, probably convincing them to jump aboard with Square Enix for the next-gen of gaming.
We’re working on a second project right now, and that’s very much in an R&D phase.
