Just four new screenshots for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive today. In a day where screenshots have been hitting left right and centre, it’s not too many. Nonetheless, the game is looking great. Along with posting the screens, Valve labelled the game for a Summer 2012 release. However, some negative news came too; the cross-platform play between PC, Mac and PS3 has been reportedly scrapped. Good thing they sweetened us up with these shots!
Here are two interesting images picked up on reddit from the Counter Strike: Global Offensive, Valve’s newest title. The pictures are seemingly plain but could there be some suggestive hints of Half-Life 3? On the list of Half-Life characters on the right side of the first image, 3 tallies appear next to Gordon, assumed Gordon Freeman.
The second image is certainly the more interesting of the two with what seems to be Gordon Freeman’s face making an appearance in the top middle of the image. Also, the 3 tallies appear once again, as does total bugs fixed ‘3’. Furthermore, could the left hand side of the second image be suggesting a release window for Half-Life 3? Hmmmm.
