Accompanying that reveal for Battlefield 4 is 17 minutes of gameplay…Give your eyes a little feast why don’t ya?
Here we have Battlefield 4’s debut trailer. The gamer certainly looks amazing and given DICE’s track record, you can bet it will play nicely too. What do you think?
As promised, Battlefield 4 would be revealed come March 27th. Running on the all new Frostbite 3 engine, the game is assumed to be coming to current and next-gen consoles. However, it has been confirmed that it won’t be making a Wii U appearance. Ouch!
With the leaked Battlefield 4 artwork (left) appearing ahead of the game’s suspected GDC reveal, rumours are flying. 64 player maps are expected to make an appearance on consoles this time round, as well as there being three factions, the US, Russia and an Asian force. The Commander feature from Battlefield 2 is also rumoured to be making a return!
The CoD franchise is at or near its peak annual sales potential, and we’ll likely see sales stabilise. Battlefield 4′s launching next autumn and new consoles are coming out, so this is likely to affect sales.
We still want to stay in this genre, the modern day as it is. We feel this is a place we can be and continue with the series. Battlefield 4 can live in this space and be very successful.
