Epic Games Buy Judgement Developer

Epic Games have confirmed that they have bought People Can Fly, the developers of Gears of War Judgement.

The acquisition of the Polish developer has led to the firm losing three key staff members. Adrian Chmieralz, one of those that left, said the following via twitter:

“Gears fans, you’re going to love Judgment. It’s in great hands. And don’t worry, you’ll hear about my plans soon enough,”

People Can Fly were the team behind the 2011 shooter, Bulletstorm. Here’s what Mark Rein of Epic Games said about the move:

“We doubled down on People Can Fly. It was something we always hoped to do.”
