Ouya Kickstarter Closes
After a month of running, the Ouya Kickstarter has been a success. Over $8 million has been raised!
The Android based console looks to take on the big guns of gaming with it’s unique open-source concept. Receiving over 63,000 backers, the product has raised a lot of interest from gamers and those involved in the industry.
A number of publishers have backed the console such as Square Enix, already promising that Final Fantasy III will be available on the system at launch. It has also been confirmed that Namco-Bandai are set to back the system.
Ouya raised $8,596,475 to be exact.
