SEGA Back In Black
SEGA have returned to profit in Q2 following a restructuring of the company.

A report from GI.biz states that SEGA had revenues of ¥69.9 billion ($893m/£569m) in the Q2 (ending June 30 2012), a 7.1% rise compared to Q2 2011. Profits were ¥2.5 billion ($32m/£20m), compared to a ¥2.2 billion loss posted in Q2 last year.
With the company citing a fall in demand for packaged products in the West, SEGA has focused it’s business on digital releases and more focused package releases. For example, the only packaged release has been the London 2012: Offical Video Game which is currently topping the UK charts. SEGA are also closing offices across Europe as a result of the restructuring process.
