Apple Patent Game Controller
Whilst it’s only a patent application, it’s worth reporting when it’s a company like Apple. The tech giants have patented their own console games controller.
Looking a lot like the Dualshock controller for the PlayStation, the controller’s patent document lies here. The plans state that the controller will be compatible with existing iOS devices and Apple TV.
There is also an interesting patent which turns iOS devices into a universal remote. Pretty cool.
So, are Apple prepping to dive head first into gaming? It looks like things are getting a tad more serious.
