More MGS4 Trophy & Install Info

With news of the Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots trophy and install patch coming, there has been some additional information released regarding the changes.

Kojima Productions have revealed that the trophies will not be retroactive. This means that once you download the patch, trophies won’t start popping based on your old save.

KojiPro were wary of the fact that saves can be nabbed from the internet due to the fact that the game was made before trophies were added to the PS3. Regarding the install, the game used different installs due to the limited sizes of PS3 HDD’s back in 2008. Most PS3s carried 40GB-80GBs of space, much smaller than the current norm.
