MGS4 ‘Best Version’ & Trophy Details

Some details regarding the Japanese ‘Best Version’ of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and the accompanying trophies have been revealed. 

The budget release that will come to Japan will remove the install screens between each act as show by the picture above. The installs were a pain but were made slightly more entertaining by messages from a smoking Old Snake. Instead, there will be one install at the beginning of the game that will allow the game to be played without break.

Regarding the trophies, it has been confirmed that there will be 34 trophies in total.   Expect some pretty inventive ones from Hideo Kojima and his men. Its doubtful that the trophies will be retroactive, giving you all the more reason to play through Solid Snake’s final adventure again!
