3DS Passes 6 Million Sales in Japan
According to the Japanese gaming magazine, Famitsu, the Nintendo 3DS has sold over 6 million units in Japan.

The figure was quoted at 6,017,206, a figure which has soared markedly in the last few months. The strong sales can be equated to a significant increase in quality software, namely the likes of Mario and Kid Icarus doing the rounds. Comparatively, the PlayStation Vita sales remain low as the system struggles to gain a foothold in the market. Time will tell as to how the handheld battle goes in the Far East!
