Rumour: Sony Closing Zipper Interactive

In a post by the gaming site, Kotaku, it has been reported that Sony are to shut down the studio, Zipper Interactive.

Zipper are the team responsible for the recent PlayStation Vita third person shooter, Unit 13. They are also the developers of the tactical shooter series’, SOCOM and MAG.

The most recent releases from the studio have had lesser positive reviews than titles created last generation. SOCOM 4 received mixed reviews, as did the massive multiplayer shooter, MAG.
