Report: GAME Headed for Administration?
According to MCV, the employees of GAME have been told to prepare in the event of the company going into administration.
MCV claim that the Senior staff of stores across the country have met with the company’s CEO, Ian Shepherd. The meeting concluded that the company could go into administration within a fortnight if the financial woes persist.
There have been rumours of the US gaming giant, GameStop, planning a takeover of the struggling UK PLC. In order to improve the existing situation, the company are doing a firesale, which means cheap (cheaper than normal extortionate GAME prices) games and consoles are available. The most notable of the sale, the £99 PS3, has already sold out it’s stock.
