Gabe Newell Worth Over $1bn
According to a report from Forbes, the head of Valve, Gabe Newell, is now worth over $1 billion.
It has been estimated that Newell is worth $1.5bn. This puts Newell at 854 on a list of 1,226 billionaires in the world. Owning over 50% of Valve is the key reason for Newell’s wealth.
Whilst Valve is a private company and it is impossible to know it’s finances, Forbes have contacted various industry analysts and insiders that put a conservative estimate of $3bn on the company.
