GAME Not Supplying Mass Effect 3
In an incredibly shocking move, GAME, Britain’s largest video game retailers, has confirmed that they will not be stocking Mass Effect 3.

The struggling retailer reached out to EuroGamer and said it was a ‘supply issue’. The problem will effect all GAME and gamestation stores across the UK, including their online stores.
“GAME are a hugely popular brand with gamers of all ages. The high street is having a tough time at the moment because people have less money to spend. We’re doing as much as we can to give our customers the widest possible range during this time, but as flagged before, we need our partners help in order to do this.”
The news broke as a memo was sent out regarding the inability to supply the product. A FAQ has also been posted for the game online, with the store saying ‘we may do’ for the question asking if the game will be stocked in the future.
Those that pre-ordered with the company will be emailed shortly. In a gesture of goodwill toward their customers, GAME are doing the following to reconcile:
- Customers who have pre-ordered in store, will have the opportunity to add £5 worth of Reward points to their card if they visit us from today through to 16 March 2012.
- Customers who have placed a deposit for the title will receive refund as well as the £5 worth of Reward points between 1 and 16 March 2012.
- Customers who have pre-ordered online, will be provided with an online voucher to the value of £5 to be spent on any purchase on our sites.
