Xbox 360 Sells 1.7m in December
Microsoft’s Xbox 360 has sold 1.7 million units in December of last year, confirming the console as the number one seller in the US in 2011.
The console has been a huge success in 2011 and will hope to carry on being such a hot seller in 2012, particularly in the USA where the majority of it’s share of sales have been.
The Xbox 360 outsold the 2nd place system by over 2 million units according to Microsoft, presumably the PS3. In total, $4.6bn were spent on accessories and games for the system throughout the year. The Kinect gamble seems to be paying off.
