Namco Bandai & Dark Souls Petition

Dark Souls, the spiritual successor to the PS3 exclusive game Demon Souls, never made the jump to PC. However, PC gamers have been calling for Namco Bandai to port the game.

On the Namco Bandai forums, an administrator recently responded to a thread asking whether a PC version was possible:

“There is always possibilities to have games adapted on PC and the good news is that Dark Souls is not a 100% typical console game so the adaptation is possible. Now to make things happen, let’s say the demand has to be properly done. someone to make a successful petition?”

The community has quickly repsonded with a petition which has received 53,815 signatures at the time of writing. Namco Bandai caught wind of the petition and have responded by citing a PC version is just a ‘rumour’. 

It would be fantastic to bring one of 2011’s best RPGs to PC, particularly in such a fairytale way of classic people power petition.
