Black Ops 2 Coming?
A domain register for ‘blackops2.com’ could suggest that a sequel for Call of Duty: Black Ops is inbound.
The domain name was bought by Activision recently and joins a whole host of Black Ops related domains owned by the company. This could suggest that the company wishes to continue the story.
A report from Fusible claims that the domain is owned by MarkMonitor. This company seeks to protect internet brands for companies in the Fortune 100 list, a list of which Activision is a member.
The original Call of Duty: Black Ops was a remarkable success given complaints from gamers regarding technical issues. The game sold over 14 million copies.
