Epic Games Against SOPA
Epic Games, despite being part of the Entertainment Software Association (ESA), have publicly condemned the Stop Online Piracy Act.

The ESA are officially listed under the support list for the SOPA bill with it’s lengthy members list. However, Epic Games have clarified that they do not support the bill’s current form with this statement:
“We do not support the current version of SOPA. We are members of the Entertainment Software Association (ESA), a trade organization that is working with legislators to refine the bill.”
Sony and Nintendo recently removed their individual support from the bill after a threat from Anonymous but were reported to have been supporting the bill via the ESA membership. We assume more companies will come out with similar statements regarding their stance on the controversial legislation.
