Vita Shifts 321,000 in 2 Days
Reports are slowly coming out of Japan regarding the sales of Sony’s PlayStation Vita. Japanese magazine, Famitsu, claim that 321,000 units have been sold in the first two days.

This, in comparison to the launch of Nintendo’s 3DS handheld is slightly weaker. The 3DS sold just over 371,000 in the first two days. However, the recent best seller PSP only sold 166,000 in its first two days.
The estimated sales by the end of the week rest at 1.4 million. Sony had bolstered up stocks for the Vita in case of shortages, to 700,000. The key to success is prolonging the sales, supported by a strong software lineup. That sole reason is why the Nintendo 3DS started to waver. If Sony gets the formula right, the handheld could be a huge success.
