Alan Wake PC Self Published by Remedy

With the recent announcement that Finnish developers, Remedy, will be bringing Alan Wake to the PC, the company have also announced they will publish the game themselves via Steam.

Microsoft had originally published the game back on Xbox 360 during its 2010 release. They too will be publishing the upcoming Alan Wake’s American Nightmare on the Xbox LIVE Arcade. Here’s what Remedy’s community manager had to say:

“Microsoft is still the publisher of Alan Wake’s American Nightmare, which is being released on XBLA in early 2012. As for Alan Wake PC, it’s a Remedy self published title which is coming to Steam, also being released early in 2012.”

The PC version of Alan Wake is set to hit Valve’s Steam service in the first quarter of 2012.
