Sony ‘Smash Bros’ Game Inbound?

Rumours are flying left, right and centre about a potential Super Smash Bros. style game coming to PS3. A blog called Paul Gale Network claims to have insider information about the alleged ‘Title Fight’.

The game is supposed to bring Sony’s best characters across it’s franchises for a mass brawl. SuperBot Entertainment are the supposed developers of the game as they recently put on their website that they are creating a blockbuster PS3 exclusive. 

Paul Gale Network claims that fighters will include the likes of:

  • Kratos
  • Parappa the Rapper
  • Nathan Drake
  • Colonel Radec
  • Sweet Tooth
  • Sly Cooper
  • Fat Princess
  • 20+ more characters

Here’s a screenshot posted by the blog which is said to have come straight from the insider source.

Obviously this is just a character model in a development phase, but its interesting to see that the screenshot looks pretty real.

The site goes on to detail a 3 tier combo system which will give characters unique abilities as they fight on such as Sweet Tooth’s ability to turn into his Ice Cream Truck. There is said to be a variety of themed stages that feature the worlds of our favourite games like LittleBigPlanet and Jak & Daxter. The stages are unique and there are items that players can pick up to use such as RPGs. For more details check out PGN’s post.

Could this be what the Long Live Play ad was alluding to all this time? You be the judge of that one. We think it could may well have been.
