Uncharted 3 Sells 3.8 Million on Day One

Naughty Dog’s Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception didn’t just receive a critical success, it boasted a sales success. 3.8 million copies of the game were sold on the first day of release according to Sony.

The press release issued by Sony effectively confirms that the third entry into the Uncharted series was the largest success. The game has built upon the 2009 game of the year, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves’ foundations and made an even better game. Expect Sony to announce some new sales figures in the coming weeks.
