Assassins Creed Movie Negotiations

An Assassins Creed movie is to be put into the works with Sony Pictures according to Hollywood news wire Variety. Ubisoft are reportedly about to give the green light for the big screen adaptation.

Ubisoft recently established their Motion Pictures department. The department will be closely overseeing the production of the movie, so don’t expect there to be a misrepresentation of the series.

There is currently no word from Sony Pictures regarding the rumoured negotiations. Whilst these are the early stages, the signs are encouraging. With another Assassins Creed game coming out in 2012, the movie will only further extend this franchise’s reach.
