PS Vita Gets Europe/US Release Date
Speculation is over, mark February 22nd in your calendars. Jack Tretton brought the news from the Web 2.0 Summit in San Francisco. This gives gamers across the world (other than Japan) the relief that the Vita will be coming to their region before the rumoured March release.

The price of the PlayStation Vita in the UK is what it was listed as by most major retailers; £229 for Wi-Fi only and £279 for 3G models. The launch line ups for the February release have not yet been revealed, but expect it to have huge titles like Uncharted: Golden Abyss making an appearance.
There are over 100 games currently in development for the Vita, so expect to get your hands on them in the near future. The handheld will launch in Japan on December 17th of this year, but fear not the rest of the world, we have a fixed date to anticipate.
We expect the next piece of news to be the 3G data plans for the system to be detailed. This will differ from region to region. It was confirmed at E3 this year that AT&T will be the US carrier despite the crowd’s boos. For our Vita hands-on, check out the link.
