WP7’s Companion App’s Xbox Functionality

If you’re lucky to have a Windows Phone 7 like Jacob, you’ll soon be able to download the Companion App. This free-to-download app will let users control their Xbox 360 or it’s video playback using the ‘Control and Play’ feature which is said to be as fast as using the console’s controller.

Companion App will also let you search and organise content from the Xbox Live Marketplace for Xbox 360. This means users will be able to search for the latest games, movies, music and more goodies from the Marketplace. The app is said to be in beta at the moment and will release soon.
