Sony’s Awesome Tribute to Fans
LONG LIVE PLAY. That’s the new slogan for Sony’s new PS3 ads. The full length version of the new ad which was teased last week is what can simply be described as an awesome homage to the fans.
Whilst we still don’t know the news of the October 5th announcement, the extended version of the teaser was incredible. The trailer is packed full of your favourite PlayStation legends from past to present. The trailer also is dedicated to a real life fans, the one below is for ‘Michael’.
A few months ago, Sony asked PlayStation gamers to send in a picture of themselves with a PlayStation controller and a 30 word description of why they were the ultimate PlayStation gamer. The successful fans will continue to be shown in future ads, whether its at the forefront or on the walls in photo frames. The ad is a great tribute, but whether it will/is intended to captivate future buyers remains to be seen.
