PlayStation Teasing October 5th…

A video was posted on the PlayStation YouTube channel teasing October 5th. The listing on YouTube has ‘Long Live Play — See More’ in the title. We assume there will be a follow up on that date to the trailer which depicts a pair of soldiers entering what appears to be some sort of inn.

There are some finer details such as a LittleBigPlanet score bubble, what sounds like the siren that ends Resistance trailers, Metal Gear MkII from MGS4, eyes in the forest background which glow like Chimera/Helghast, SweetTooth’s ice cream truck from Twisted Metal and Resistance weaponry. There also seems to be a face that starts to fade in at the end before the trailer stops.

Another point of analysis is the writing above the door which as far as we can make out is VIVAT LUDOS LONGE which is Latin for ‘Long Live Play’. What the deeper meaning of the new catchphrase is? We don’t know…We’ll keep guessing until October 5th.
