Activision have posted the official Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 launch trailer on the game’s YouTube account. The follow up to 2009 smash hit Modern Warfare 2, is due out on November 8th. Love it or hate it, its at least worth a watch.

Mass Effect 3 is to get a single player demo and multiplayer beta this January. BioWare made the announcement via Twitter earlier today. This is great news for veterans and newcomers to the series. Fans can get an idea of how the newly announced multiplayer will work and what to expect from the sure to be epic singleplayer campaign.
A developer diary video posted by the PlayStation Blog regarding the PlayStation Vita gives us an insight into the true conceptual process and origins of the upcoming handheld. 25-1, take that for a scoreline. The highly successful FIFA 12 has outsold Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 by 25 sales to 1 on when comparing the opening weekend sales. This is a huge gap that EA have gained over their rival’s franchise.

When it was revealed that fans should send in Devil May Cry art for a ‘new, to be announced Capcom game’ we thought it may have been for a Devil May Cry HD Collection. It turns out we were right, Capcom have finally announced the collection for PS3 and Xbox 360 a good 3 months later.

After the announcement that Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary has gone gold, a video was published online showing the Halo 4 Alpha menu. Its hard to tell whether this is fake or real, but the user accessed the supposed menu through a copy of Halo: CE Anniversary. Incredible editing or the real thing?

The highly anticipated remaster of the original Halo, Halo: Combat Evolved, is finished. The game is now ready to be pressed for its November 15th release date. This tenth anniversary special is tipped to be a true homage to the original. The achievements were also revealed with the announcement that the game had gone gold.
We thought we’d bundle these two TV spots in one post. Here we have a Battlefield 3 TV spot called ‘Above and Beyond the Call’ and an Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception TV spot without a name. Whilst the Battlefield 3 one is certainly unique and creative, it doesn’t show off the gameplay, the true selling point for this shooter. Uncharted 3 on the other hand shows off 25 seconds worth of gameplay clips. Videos below:

Now here’s an interesting one. Rockstar Games are celebrating the 10th anniversary of their hit Grand Theft Auto III by releasing the game on mobile platforms this November.
Here’s a new 7 minute trailer for the sequel to Square Enix’s Final Fantasy XIII. This trailer for XIII-2 shows off a variety of new features and gameplay elements. We know the XIII games divide opinion amongst the series’ faithful, but we’ll post it anyway. Slow news day, check it bros!

The 2007 cross platform game Shadowrun is to make its return to the gaming world in the form of an online browser game. The game will be a top down iteration of the original game which came to Xbox 360 and PC.
